What may be the best website host/builder?

I’ve been googling and searching and I see lots of promises but it would be great to have personal feedback. I do know some HTML but it’s been so long since it was put to use. Who knows what it the site may end up like. I honestly just wanted to start a personal website for fun and for my friends.

Well Notepad is the all time best, but it’s for the more slightly advanced users, if you’re a little rusty with html i would start off with Adobe Dreamweaver, it’s Simple to use and you can learn from it as you go. gl.

suggest you visit they come with a free domain name, unlimited webspace and bandwidth.

They also come with a website wizard and software suite called Fantastico which includes all manner of scripts to use to get your site up and running the easy way.

Also when you go with the hosting enter discount code 25OFF for 25% off all their plans.

I have several sites with them and have been more than happy with their help and support.

    Hope this helps

    I recommend one of these:

Powweb has the best offer right now. It’s on a 50% sale – $3.88/month ($46.56/year), and you get a free domain from them. (like)

Their hosting plan includes web builder, so you can create your site just by drag and drop (without any programming), or you could install Wordpress (easy, one click install from their control panel), choose a theme that you like, and start adding content.

Try Blink Web or Wix, their easy to manage free website (or blog) has cool features that include drag and drop capability, switch designs on the fly, youtube and google video, custom html, upload images, flikr photo gallery, visitor stats and more. You can also buy a new domain instantly, or host your existing domain for free and make it your own (www.yourown.com)

If your looking for something more advanced but still user friendly then try XsitePro, Sitebuilder Designs or Calvary Studios, they have everything you need in building your own website: domain name registration or domain transfer, web hosting, web builder, site maintenance and email accounts. Everything is laid out in an easy to follow step by step instruction. Some of the features included enable you to add your own themes, videos, images or mp3 music making your site unique to you. Pricing is comparable and affordable too.

I hope that I was of some help and answered your question.
