I understand the difference between a certificate and a degree, but don’t see how having one over the other would pan out when looking for a job in the field of web design… anyone have good insight?

associates degree, that leaves you open to more college and a bachelors degree later if you choose. If you just get the certificate, you have to start all over again if you change your mind later and want to do something else.
