Plain and Simple. I need perferably a free website builder for my new Photography Website. I already have a domain name so I will need to be able to use that. Thanks

I use GoDaddy but there has to be a million others out there.
I use Jalbum.net to build my web portfolios – not sure what you could use for the rest of your site but I’ve found jalbum to be really easy and it has a ton of style options that look nice and professional. And it’s free!
I use Flash and notepad to build my website. That’s a matter of whether you know html/css or not. Or are you talking about hosting ? For that, I use Godaddy.
I use NVu to build the basic website using free templates to begin the process. Then, for my photographic gallery, I use free software from Coppermine together with their themes. I use GIMP and FastStone for image manipulation and editing. I use Filezilla as my FTP program to load files to my server.
All of these programs are free for the asking. I have a very reliable host which includes unlimited bandwidth, unlimited email addresses, unlimited storage, free web building software, tons of extras, all for about $5.00 per month or $60.00 per year.
It is called FatCow.com and though I am using it, I have no other interest in it (I’m not a principal or an investor) except that I am a happy customer.
I have links to all of these programs where you can download them for your own use on my website. Go get ‘em!
It takes a great deal of patience and a good deal of knowledge to do all of this work on your own no matter what software you use. Maybe you’d be better off using a public photohosting site such as flikr. (I’m not certain of that name as I don’t use it.)
But, if you want real tools that won’t cost you any money (other than the host/server space) these should do it.
Let me, and the rest of us, know when you have something up for us to visit and see.
Good Luck with your project.
