Are there any good free website builders?

I want to build a social networking site kinda like myspace but I only have a very rusty knowledge of basic HTML.

Try using Joomla. You will of course need to learn how to use it, but it should work for what you want.

Yes there are lots of them, though whether you want to spend the time is a matter for you to consider.

Assuming you have any version, old or new of MS Office, there is a website builder called FRONTPAGE that comes free.

It is very complete and takes you step by step and needs very little HTML knowledge (which of course is the best but very tedious and, in my opinion really only for serious web builders).

If you just go to Google and type in :

    Free web builders or
    Free website construction

you will get a long list of those available.

Why don’t you give that a try. If, after you do and decide you would be satisfied with a simpler “personal website” type, then send me a message (just press contact in my website and type in any questions you want).

I constructed mine in one evening but it is quiote rudimentary and possibly not what you would want.

Log in to mine and send me your opinion if you like:

I just use it for friendsand residents of our condo who go on trips and have blogs and for the activities we enjoy in our building. Ron
