I really want to make a website. Not something stupid that you make on FreeWebs or Wetpaint, I want to create something original, but similar to Myspace or Facebook. Any suggestions on how to get started?

FreeWebs is a respectable site permitting people to construct their own website. It could be what people choose to put on their site that makes it seem “stupid” to you but there is nothing wrong with FreeWebs.
Microsoft Office Live provide a free website (that includes site building tools and 50 e-mail addresses).
I am not sure if you are asking how to acquire a website or how to build one. Unless you are very experienced in website construction (and your question suggests the opposite) then creating a website similar to MySpace would be something far beyond your abilities – my abilities and the abilities of 99% of people here on Yahoo! Answers.
