Can anyone recomend a good website builder?

In my last question I asked how I could upload webpages to my website. Now that I know how to do that can anyone recomend a good FREE website builder? I’m not very good at working with HTML so any drag and drop programs would be useful.

Notepad. Notepad Plus. If you really want something heavyweight, Aptana Studio. (All free.) A drag and drop website looks like it. If you want a site that looks good, learn to make one.

Upload using an FTP program (Filezilla is perfect) or just map a network drive to your FTP address and copy the files to and from it.

A free drag and drop program is KompoZer. There are tutorials on youtube that will show you how to get started using it.

If you are a novice, I’d recommend that you pick a web host provider that provides pre-made templates. That will give you the simplest, most professional looking web page and is usually included in the cost of your web host. Alternatively, many word processing programs and presentation software which most people have on their computer anyway allows for generating the page as html. Look under your save-as on your favorite word processor and see if HTML is an option. If you do this, don’t forget you may have to modify your links to work properly. (Open in notepad after saved as Html, go to link and add link ) Beware of downloading free software as there is the possibility of loading a computer virus.

Get Web Developer 2008 Express Edition from Microsoft, it is free. Just register the product. Then they will send you the key to activate the program.

    Check out the link:
