dating website builders? does anyone know of any websites that are selling dating website software?
i am looking to open up my own but dont have enough cash to pay someone 30k or more to build my own from the ground up and program it all, so i was woundering if anyone knew of a site the sells them, please do not refer to me able dating or abk dating, i dont want some cheesy cheap site, if you have any ideas or suggestions please let me know thanks
To answer your question; website builders exist but not specific to dating. There are no websites selling dating website software.
Before you jump in headfirst (and you will not like my answer because, like life, it’s not easy)…
…go to a good university and get a good 4-year degree in a technology related disclipline and make friends with everyone; after that you should get a good MBA.
That is the best advice I can give you. During that time you may learn everything you need to know and be the next Match.com or Facebook or even code an application that rides on one of these mainstream sites.
During that time take a S.C.O.R.E. course or two; these retired execs usually charge very little for their experience.
A decent programmer overseas will run you about 20k a year and you will have to be able to speak their language; if you want them to know English as well the price can double. You will need at least 2. A legal agreeement between them and you, able to be enforced in India or Russia or China and the US will run several thousand dollars and enforcing that will cost you tens of thousands.
Having owned a few businesses, 3/4 of those successful, I can say that you really need to know how to run a business as well as know the technology you are working with. If you don’t know either you will end up losing everything you invested as well as everything you borrowed.
There have been some good articles about dating websites, their struggles in this economy, and their profits or lack of profits.
Then you will have to address advertising expenses, marketing focus, upgrades to the site, privacy laws, protecting users, profit modeling, etc.

There are lots if you look for dating website software with shopping carts and statistics etc or there’s templates to build your own etc.
You say you don’t want a free website but have you seen they have a good website and you can join by getting your own email and web hosting. So for a small cost you can be in business and start directing traffic to your website.
