If they don’t have ads on there or sell anything personally, where does the money come from? If i were to make a website with no ads, and i receive visitors, how do i get money from it? It’s a difficult question from what i’ve noticed, anyone mind explaining? Thank you!

They are getting acut from all the products purchased by a buyer that used their site to link to the product. It is called an Affiliate Program.
You won’t make money on your own unless you offer a product, service, place ads, or develop an affiliate relationship, but either way you would need a lot of traffic to make a profit…. I have several sites that do not make me any money, I made them as an informative tool for people or for fun. I just buy the domain, create a site in dreamweaver, host it on my own server and all that it costs me is my time/labor and my bandwidth. If a site is collecting a lot of traffic I will host it on a different server and definitely place ads on it then.
