How can I validate if my former web development company is redirecting traffic from my website?

When I type my URL in the search bar, I go directly to my website. However, when I typed my website URL into a Yahoo Answers question, it was re-directed to my former web developer site. Is it possible there is some type of “hidden” redirect?
